I always felt editing a film and data analysis required similar mindsets. Both require you to take a massive amount of information and tell a story that is well organized, intuitive, and keeps the audience engaged. The raw footage for this 11 minute film was 3 Terabytes of video files. I was responsible for managing this immense amount of data but also deciding which subset of this footage made the final cut in order to tell a concise, engaging story.
